Though Sue may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mabeline Johnson and Johnnie Johnson; and her sister Tommie. She is survived by: her husband Melvin; her sons, John (Bridget) and Mark (Angi); and her grandchildren, Emily and Matthew. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home & Cremation Services - Taylor (9800 Telegraph Rd, Taylor, MI 48180). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
