With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ray Adams of Taylor, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 26, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Adamowicz and Rose Adamowicz; and his siblings, Irene Bober and Rudy Adams. He is survived by: his wife Louise Adams; his children, Michelle Pykor (Jerry), Laura Clelland (Eric), Lynn Buha (Barry), Kevin Adams (Michelle) and Anne Marie Pompo (Tim); his grandchildren, Ryan (Carrie), Nathan, Elle, Eric Jr., Bailey, Madalyn (Pat), Maranda (Michael), Mallory, Jillian, Emma, Dominic, Nicole and Alicia; and his great grandchild Ophelia.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Taylor Chapel of Voran Funeral Home (23750 Goddard Rd, Taylor, MI 48180). A rosary will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Voran Funeral Home - Taylor (23750 Goddard Rd, Taylor, MI 48180). The lying in state will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Constance Catholic Church (21333 Kinyon St, Taylor, MI 48180). A Mass will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
