She was predeceased by: her spouse Swinton Long; her great grandchild Tristen; her parents, Joseph Panik and Mary Panik; and her siblings, Gasper, Sammy, Ethel, Dominic, Andy, Walter, Phillip and Jane.
She is survived by: her former husband Harry E. Cain; her children, Gloria Shofstall (late Michael), Linda Peters (Rodney), Nancy Leedy (Beverly), Mary Rodden (late Calvin) and Robert Cain (Marlene); her grandchildren, Erica, Jennifer, Matthew, Brian, Karen, Rhonda, Stephanie, Jason, Elizabeth, Robert and Samantha; her siblings, Irene (Tom), Helen (late Rick), Dave (Marlene), Joe (late Phyllis), Marian (late Joe), Stephanie (Jim) and Jim (Betty); and her sister-in-law Mary Jane.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 4th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Michigan Memorial Funeral Home (30895 W Huron River Dr, Flat Rock, MI 48134). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Michigan Memorial Park.
