With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Shoemake of Taylor, Michigan, born in Wayne, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 6, 2025 at the age of 47. He was predeceased by: his mother Janet Shoemake (Ron). He is survived by: his father John Shoemake; his wife Michelle Springer; his children, Alyssa (Joseph Trull), Ashleigh, John, Logan, Jeffrey and Paytyn; his sisters, Theresa Thomas (Jason) and Angela Wentz (Joseph); his grandson Sonny Haze Trull; and his pets, Ruger, Remington and Colt.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Taylor Chapel of Voran Funeral Home (23750 Goddard Rd, Taylor, MI 48180). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Voran Funeral Home - Taylor (23750 Goddard Rd, Taylor, MI 48180).
Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in honor of John.
