She was predeceased by: her daughter Lizzie Ortiz; and her parents, Adolfo Fierro and Guadalupe Fierro. She is survived by: her children, Esther Reyes, Maria Elena Ramirez (Salvador), Evelyn Spivey (Bob), Rebeca Peitrzak (Albert), Rachel Mendoza (Carlos) and Raymond Aguilar (Kathy); and her son-in-law Tony Ortiz.
