He was predeceased by: his parents, Conway Adkins and Dolly Adkins. He is survived by: his children, Kiley Adkins (Stacey), Jamie Adkins, Shawn Webster, Matthew Adkins (Stephanie) and Conway Adkins (Heather); his sisters, Judy Pietryka and Amalia Low (Gorman); and his grandchildren, Joseph, Jayden, Destiny, Matthew Jr., Alexis, Jace, Caden and Carter.
