Billy R. Brumfield Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy R. Brumfield of Taylor, Michigan, who passed away on October 28, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Linda; his parents, Truman Brumfield and Tella Brumfield; and his siblings, Larry and Wanda Brumfield.
He is survived by: his wife Vernell Wilson; his daughters, Letha Archibald (Charlie) and Anita Clark (Bryan); his stepchildren, Melinda Brown (Rick) and Mark Wilson (Anita); his siblings, Carol Reynolds (Scotty), Karen Maynard (Charlie) and Randy Brumfield (Deb); and his siblings-in-law, Brenda Brumfield, Bill Chafin, Jr., Rodney Adkins and Larry Preece. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Allen Park Chapel of the Martenson Family (10915 Allen Rd, Allen Park, MI 48101). The lying in state was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the City Baptist Church (4700 Allen Rd, Allen Park, MI 48101). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Inter-City Baptist Church, specifying the "ICBS Scholarship Fund.".
