He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Jr. and Janet Ulman, Jr. (McDonald); and his brother Randy (Debra). He is survived by: his siblings, Lisa Ulman, Kim Reiter (Jason), William Ulman and Daniel Ulman (Bonnie); his stepchildren, Donny, Anita and Aaron (West); and his nieces and nephews, Jordan Reiter, Steven Smith, Zachary Ulman, Brandon Ulman, Kristopher Ulman, Dylan Ulman, Halie Smith and Alison Glover.
