He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Smith and Bernadine M. Schlink; his wife Judi Smith (Dorey); his son Randy Smith; and his siblings, Mary Link and Richard Schlink.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Miller (Allen) of Tawas City, Karry McClellan (Scott) of Tawas City and Kevin Smith of East Tawas; his grandchildren, Christina Sena (Frank) of Tawas City, Nathan Miller (Ashley) of Tawas City and Samantha Smith of Canton; his great grandchildren, Ariana Sena, Kennedy Baldwin, Frankie Sena, Nova Miller and Clay Miller; his brother Jeff Schlink of Montana; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Perkins of Pinconning and Bonney Cooper of Clarksville, Tennessee.
