It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mabel Mary Hess in Tawas City, Michigan, who passed away on September 21, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mabel Mary Hess to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mike Kozlow and Mamie Kozlow (LeFever); her husband Maylaird; and her siblings, Marie Lail, Elizabeth Murtaugh, Carol Coons, Virginia Trout, Joyce Ward, Edward Kozlow, Valentino "Val" Kozlow, Donald Kozlow and Lawrence Kozlow.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Allen (Bob) of Savannah, Georgia, Rick Hess (Penny) of Lake Orion and Vicky Rehberg (Clark) of Westlake Village, California; her grandchildren, Robert Allen, Sheila Allen, Erin Ruh (Brian), Janelle Wright (Keith), Grant Hess and Kylie Hess; her great grandchildren, Andrew, Nicholas, Cameron Allen, Isaak Ruh, Luna Wright, Norah Ruh, Ayla and Maya Wright; and her siblings, Pauline "Pat" Bodine, Joseph Kozlow, Arlene Kozlow and Richard Kozlow. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to restrictions forced by COVID-19, there will be a Celebration of Life ceremony at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Dementia Society of America in memory of Mabel.
