She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Anschuetz and Margaret Anschuetz; her husbands, Walt Smith and Don Piechowiak; her children, Sandy Smith and Tom Smith; and her siblings, Ed Anschuetz, Russ Anschuetz, Jack Anschuetz, Theodore Anschuetz Jr., Ken Anschuetz, Joyce Burke and Mary Lou Anschuetz.

She is survived by: her son Michael Smith; her stepchildren, Alan Piechowiak and Lenore Piechowiak; her sisters, Rose Warner, Grace Revord (Orville), Joan Jordan and Alice Finley (Larry); her grandchildren, Olivia Tucker (Dante), Andrew Smith, Megan Peterson (Jacob), Sean Locey (Carrie) and Patrick Locey (Alyssa); and her great grandchildren, Destiny, Preston, Lila, Felix, Aslan, Yazmine and Rose. She is also survived by 20 nieces and nephews.
