It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona Emma Deering (Tawas City, Michigan), who passed away on March 21, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Hatcher and Emma Hatcher (Badour); her husband Don; her siblings, Lucille Beyer, Audrey Rogers and Jim Hatcher; her siblings-in-law, Paul Beyer, Charles Rogers and Bunny Hatcher; and her great grandchild Dayton Kukuk.
She is survived by: her daughters, Bonnie Lixey (John) of East Tawas and Sharon Lighthiser (Phil) of Lansing.
