It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leatrice Place in Tawas City, Michigan, born in Pontiac, Michigan, who passed away on December 1, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Byron L. Harris and Flossie E. Harris (Alward); her spouse Belden Place; her brother Norman Harris; and her grandsons, Scott Simons and Edward McQuiston.

She is survived by: her daughters, Diana McQuiston (Randy), Sharon Wheeler (Dale) and Denise Petrie (David); and her sister-in-law Dorothy Harris. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
