He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Howell Shields I and Mary Jessie Shields; and his son Kenneth James Shields. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Mary Shields; his son Jeffery Shields; his grandchildren, Danielle Marie Zielinski (Jake Zielinski), Justin Shields, Keith Shields and Blake Shields (Erica Shields); his great grandchild Liam Shields; and his siblings, Jim Shields and Jeannie Winters.
