He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Schlagel and Berdetta Schlagel (Wilson); and his sisters, Caroline Schlagel and Iva Pierson (Floyd). He is survived by: his wife Sharon (Engle); his grandchildren, Courtney, Connor, Ainslie, Kaitlyn, Grace and Julia; his siblings, Phillip Schlagel (Pam), Lorraine Forro (Al) and Molly Winchell (Elmer); and his sister-in-law Jeannie Nickell (Bob). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
