With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Ann Bessey (Tawas City, Michigan), who passed away on February 4, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Schaule and Ethel Schaule (Binning); her brother Bob Schaule; her grandson Jeffrey Kolb; her stepdaughter Shawn Bessey; and her siblings-in-law, Marcella Bender, Claude Smith and Lawrence Bessey.
She is survived by: her husband Samuel Bessy; her children, Charles "Rob" Kolb (Donna), Jeff Kolb (Kimmy), Kristine Hetzel (Eric) and Russell Kolb (Amy); her stepchildren, William Bessey and Michelle Gardner (Chad); and her sister Elizabeth McCray. She is also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
