He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Wainwright and Virginia Wainwright (Neering); his wife Vera Lois Wainwright (Rapp); his daughter Dawn Housey (Gregg) of Bloomfield Hills; his granddaughter Kristen Hackborn; and his great grandchild Roxanne Wainwright.
He is survived by: his children, Tari Hackborn of East Tawas, Mark Wainwright (Sue) of Tawas City, Kelly Rayment (Terry) of Mackinac Island, Jill Wainwright (Jack) of Grand Blanc and Shannon Loeffler (Rod) of Tawas City; and his brother George "Judd" Wainwright of Oscoda. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
