It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Wiergowski of Tawas City, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on February 25, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Philpot and Alice L. Philpot (Keast); her husband Dick Wiergowski; her son Dale H. Strauer II; her grandson Jeremy; her stepdaughter Mary Kay Wiergowski; and her siblings, Esther Mollo, Betty Rollin, Doris Phillips, Bill Philpot and George E. Philpot.
She is survived by: her children, Fred Strauer (Juli) and Tarri M. Sanders (John); her stepson Rick Wiergowski; her grandchildren, Nicholaus of Erin, R. J., Jonathan, Liam, Lillian and Aiden; her great grandchildren, Phoenix and Sienna; her stepgrandsons, Marshall and John; her stepgreat-granddaughter Jacqueline; and her sisters, Ruth Ann Walter and Alice Baldwin (Dave).
