Though Diane Janice may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John McConnell and Ethelene McConnell (Blackwell); and her brother Kevin McConnell. She is survived by: her son Nathan Evans (Elissa); her grandchildren, Zackary Reynolds, Owen Evans and Parker Evans; and her siblings, Michael McConnell (Mary Ann), John McConnell, Glenn McConnell (Denise) and Sally Decker (Karl). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bannan Funeral Home (222 S 2nd Ave, Alpena, MI 49707). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
