She was predeceased by: her parents, Berkley Bernard and Beatrice Bernard (Peters). She is survived by: her husband Randy Fisher; her children, Amy Lovato (Brian), Nathaniel Fisher and Jennifer Fisher (Lisa); and her brothers, Bruce Bernard (Ann), Daryn Bernard (Melissa) and Bryon Bernard. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Good Samaritan Rescue Mission of Bay City or St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
