She is survived by: her husband Joe VanderVeen; her sister Janet (Postma); her sons, Joe (Kim), Greg (Becky) and Jay (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Jordan VanderVeen (Caitlyn), Lindsey Hart (Steven), Cole VanderVeen (Courtney), Noah VanderVeen (Josie), Jacob VanderVeen (Arianna), Emily Bailey (Noah) and Ben VanderVeen; and her great grandchildren, Liam, Zoë, Vern, Jameson, Bekah and Rilee. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
