He was predeceased by: his parents, Florian Czerniak and Regina Czerniak (Galla); and his siblings, Claude Czerniak (Laura), Marie Skeba (Edward), Agnes Mikowski, Clara Whitman, Joseph Czerniak (Martha) and Lillian Czerniak.
He is survived by: his wife Emily Czerniak (VanCura); his children, Julie Czerniak, Michelle Czerniak, Kimberly Phillips (David), Jennifer Rose (David) and Thomas Czerniak Jr. (Leesha); his siblings, Martha Schaub, Louise Nemeskal and Florian Czerniak Jr.; his grandchildren, Ashley, Zachariah, John, Nathanial, Benjamin, Nicholas, Emily and Natalie; and his great grandchildren, Nova and Dakota.
