It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven J. Schaeffer of Swartz Creek, Michigan, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on December 15, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Earl Schaeffer; and his brother Earl Schaeffer Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Sally Nowlin; his daughters, Kimberly Welch (John), Kristina Brown (Michael Compton), Karalyn Schaeffer and Kellie Wilson (Rick); his grandchildren, Matthew, Ashley, Nicholas, Kourtney, Bryson and Maya; his nephew David; and his close friend Dick Shedd.
