With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Ann Hicks of Swartz Creek, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on November 10, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Cherba and Anna Cherba (Janik); her husband Ronald Hicks; her sister Dorothy Mashburn; and her stepchildren, Scott Hicks and Rhonda Hurry (Brian).

She is survived by: her children, Robert (Jill), Kelly Care' (Scott) and Sharon Bearss (Robert); her grandchildren, Danielle Hicks, Colton, Bayley Care' and Kamden Hicks; her brothers, Robert Cherba (Joyce) and Steve Cherba (Jan); and her brother-in-law Royce Mashburn.

Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society or simply do a good deed.
