It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald T. VanEckhoutte of Swartz Creek, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on May 22, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius VanEckhoutte and Hazel VanEckhoutte (DeLong); his brother Patrick; and his children, Matthew McKenzie, Debbie Kaake, Melissa Danko, Patricia Genett and Robin May.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah McFarlin; his children, Heather Ramsey (Shawn) of Swartz Creek, Helen Hamby (Jeff) of Flint, Chance VanEckhoutte of Ft. McCoy, FL. and Carrie McKenzie of Flint; and his sons-in-law, John Danko and Doug May. He is also survived by many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
