He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert O'Toole and Harriet O'Toole; his sisters, Ruth Kendall, Norma Foether and Frances Fortenberry; his granddaughter Christine Sweers; and his great grandchild Bailee Mantei.

He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Mantei (John), Karen Weaver, Carol Sekrenes (Rick), Cheryl Szecsodi (David), Martha Gray (Dana) and Mary Penrod (Rick); and his wife Mary Rowan. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation to the Flushing Christian Outreach Center.
