He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Long and Gabriella D'Herckens; his wife Marian L. Warren; and his stepfather Willis Edward Basilius. He is survived by: his sons, Daniel Basilius (Deborah) of Caledonia, MI, David Basilius (Shelia) of Clio, MI and Doug Basilius of Thompson Station, TN; his grandchildren, Dana Smith (Austin), Diane Barber (Jeremy), Derek Basilius (Lindsey), Brandon Look, Brad Basilius, Camden Basilius and Collin; his great grandchildren, Ashton, Carter, Isla Smith, Leo, Marian, Roslynn Barber and Jacelyn Basilius; and his brother Willis "Bill" H. Basilius.
