He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Daniel and Bess Walch (Malco); his former wife Jean Walch; his grandchildren, Mackenzie and Spencer; and his brother Donald.
He is survived by: his wife Gisela; his children, David Walch (Lorri), Ann Chan (Alexander), Susan Strehlow (Robert) and John Walch; his stepdaughters, Heidi Fletcher (Rob) and Erika Mohney (Wayne); his grandchildren, Emilee, Kathryn, Alison, Amy, Alexandra, Michael, Peter, Camdyn and Trenton; and his great grandchild Quincey.
