It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Panks of Swartz Creek, Michigan, who passed away on December 23, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Monica Polzin (Bondy) and Joseph Polzin; her children, Sara and Edward Panks; and her siblings, Don, Dean, James Polzin, Joanne Hagerl and Janis Szarenski.

She is survived by: her stepfather Jay Mills; her daughter Monica Scott (Timothy); her grandchildren, Austin (Melissa), Zachary Birdsey, Sarah Cobb (Nick), Matthew, Meghan, Jonathan, Claire, Thomas, Charles, Maxwell and Jane Scott; her siblings, Max Polzin (Vivian) and Ann Lee; and her partner Laurel Hammond. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
