With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Leslie Robert Medlyn of Swartz Creek, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Leslie left this world on October 26, 2024 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Medlyn and Lillian Medlyn; his wife Arlene Smith; and his sister Janeann Snell. He is survived by: his children, Jill, Kirk and Paul (Wendy); his stepchildren, Dan (Linda), Laura (Greg), Tim (Pamela) and Jim (Jessica); his grandchildren, Aaron, Andrea, Andrew, Candace, Charlie, Emma, Megan, Rachel, Sam and Sara; and his sisters, Maurine Hendershott and Elaine Woods. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Swartz Funeral Home (1225 W Hill Rd, Flint, MI 48507). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
