He was predeceased by: his parents, L. C. Tucker and Phyllis Tucker of Swartz Creek, MI.; and his sister Jean McKay (Rick Kerkau). He is survived by:, Kenneth Kerkau, Cheryl Brown (Michael), Debra Hammers, Christopher Kerkau, Constance Roeglin (Timothy), Terrance Kertner (Larry), Karen Kerkau and Terry Smith.
