He was predeceased by: his siblings-in-law, Leon and Janet Mondro. He is survived by: his mother Elaine Rose Filipiak (Romel) of Durand; his wife Kathleen Frances Mondro; his son Kyle Filipiak of Swartz Creek; his father James Filipiak; his siblings, Jennifer Keilitz (Robert) of Caro and James Joseph Filipiak, Jr. of Chesterfield; his siblings-in-law, Joseph Mondro (Meadea) of Plymouth and Donna Smith (Ira); and his nieces and nephews, Jacklyn, Ian, Lance, Alex, Karolina and Lukas.
