She was predeceased by: her son James L. Gale (Robin). She is survived by: her children, Debora D. Ogle (William), Brigitta J. Brannon (Steve), Patricia A. Fidei and Robert K. Gale (Diane); her siblings, Edgar K. Lutz (Inge) of Karlsruhe, Germany, Inge Skinner (Charlie) and Doris Takayama (Lawrence); her husband Don; her stepdaughter Tamara A. Miller (Dave); her stepgranddaughter Amanda; and her stepson Marc L. Diegel (Terri). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 3 siblings.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Michigan Humane Society in honor of Karin's exceptional love for animals.
