Joseph Katrinic Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph Katrinic of Swartz Creek, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 3, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Katrinic and Betty Katrinic; his wife Donna Mazzola; and his siblings, Stephanie Katrinic, Carol Gordon and Tommy Thomas.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Katrinic Jr. (Linda) and Chandra Buller (Wayne); his grandchildren, JJ Hoss, Sierra Hoss and Joey Katrinic III; and his siblings, Peggy Rutherford, Toni of Delaware, Fran Lundberg, Joanne Jackson, Nick Katrinic, Bill Katrinic and Michael Katrinic.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church (1227 E Bristol Rd, Burton, MI 48529).
Contributions may be made to St. Francis Retreat Center in Dewitt, Michigan where Joe spent several years with the Franciscan Brothers during high school.
