The memory of John Arthur Rowley of Swartz Creek, Michigan, who passed away on January 7, 2025 at the age of 70, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Rowley and Carolyn Rowley; and his brother Michael Rowley. He is survived by: his pet Chico; his children, Jackie Cummings (Morris), Karen Bell (Rob), Jessica Franz (Mike), Heather Southern and Johnathon Rowley; his grandchildren, Leta, Cierra, Carson, Caden, Robert (Stephanee), Seth, Austin, Keith, Alyssa and Naomi; and his siblings, Stephen Rowley (Debbie), Colleen Mathis (Don), Mark Rowley (Theresa), Donald Rowley and Patrick Rowley (Dave). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home (1208 N Ballenger Hwy, Flint, MI 48504). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that monetary contributions be made in John's memory to My Brother's Keeper of Flint or the Humane Society of Genesee County, two organizations close to his heart.
