He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Howard and Flora Belle Kerley (Anderson); his siblings, James Kerley and Annie Kerley; and his father-in-law James Lee.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Renee; his children, Sherry Lynn Palmer (Robert) of Birch Run, Jerry Lee Kerley, Jr. of Flushing, Shannon Jenice Aguilar (Jesus) of Flushing, Timothy-James Brandon Kerley of Swartz Creek and Chrystee Carolynn Kerley of Swartz Creek; and his siblings, Ruth Benge of North Carolina, Don Kerley (Nancy) of North Carolina, Martha Crabb (Larry) of North Carolina and Marilyn Royal (Benny) of North Carolina. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and 4 dogs.
