She was predeceased by: her parents, Neil Currie and Doris Currie (Symons); her husband Frank Sowa; and her siblings, Leota Black, Lois Best, Marion Houston, Donna Misner, Bud and Jim Currie.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Sowa, Stephen Sowa, Scott Sowa (Kelly), Christopher Sowa and Colleen Tinsey (Keith); her grandchildren, Daniel (Kelly), Jessica, Michael (Jessica), Allison (Joshua), Forrest, Seth, Mason and Liberty; her great grandchildren, Skye Lee, Nolan, Reid, Joey, Matilda, Zoey and Franklin; her great great grandchild Kaylani; and her sisters, Janet Templin and Connie Cliff (Bill). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
