It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacob Schamberger III of Swartz Creek, Michigan, who passed away on January 12, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Schamberger and Edna Jeannette Schamberger Jr. (Pletcher); and his brother Robert Schamberger. He is survived by: his wife Penny; his children, Heather Russell (Brian), Kevin Schamberger (Alea) and Lisa Barnhill (Glenn); his grandchildren, Victoria Amesbury (Luke), Alexander, Erickson Russell, John, Henry Barnhill and Gabriel Schamberger; his great grandchildren, Isabella, Evelyn and Natalie; his siblings, Janet O'Connor (Jeff), Laura Lyall (Jim) and Steve Schamberger (Rosalind); and his sister-in-law Mertie Schamberger.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring can direct memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society of Genesee County.
