He was predeceased by: his parents, George Moody and Margaret Moody (Heifort); and his sons, Stephen, Jeffery and Jamie.

He is survived by: his wife Frances Moody; his children, Jeannie Moody-Novak (Thomas) of Canton and Ronald Schuman (Elsa) of Arlington; and his daughter-in-law Ruth Moody of Swartz Creek. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
