It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gus Harvey Klatt Jr. of Swartz Creek, Michigan, born in Akron, Michigan, who passed away on May 5, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gus Harvey and Katherine Klatt (Scheider); his wife Joyce Ann Couture; his children, Mary Craig of Prescott, Patricia Vietengruber (Duane) of Sterling, Kenneth Klatt of Texas, Diane Waski (Kenneth) of California and Sandra Griffel (James) of Florida; his grandchildren, Alisha Craig of South Carolina, Angela Hopkin (Chris) of Colorado, Robert Craig (Alisa) of Sterling, Phillip Griffel of Florida, Jason Veitengruber (Jeni) and Ashely Cunningham (Jerome); his siblings, William Klatt of Caro, Ronald Klatt of Fairgrove, Elsie Ross of Bay City, Kate Falkenhagen of Auburn, Emma Krause of Akron, Betty Klatt and Mary Earle; and his brother-in-law Ernest Couture of Pinconning. He was also cherished by 10 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
