He was predeceased by: his parents, Kinnee Ames and Leta Ames (McKenzie); his wife Charlene Nayback; and his siblings-in-law, Donna Nayback and Joe Hoxsey.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Keith Ames and Karen Dianne Ames; and his sisters, Joyce Hoxsey and Shelley Oja (John). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
