It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fouad Abuaita of Swartz Creek, Michigan, who passed away on January 30, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Khalil Abuaita and Nijma Abuaita; and his siblings, Wadeh and Badeh. He is survived by: his wife Souad Abuaita; his children, Khalil (Nawal), Khader (Lucy), Emil (Eline), Muna Abuaita (George), Maha Qazaha, Maysaa Alkhouri (Khaled) and Marlen Odeh (Giries); his grandchildren, Fida, Sahar, Mira, Fouad, Samer, Raed, Tamer, Suha, Sandy, Elias, George, Sharbel, Alee, Hanna, Lina, Dina, Michael, Ghassan, Mike, Karim, Fadi, Nataly and Jowelle; and his sisters, Rena, Souad and Mariam. He is also survived by spouses; 33 great-grandchildren, many other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. George Orthodox Church (5191 Lennon Rd, Flint, MI 48507). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 7:30 PM and on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
