We are sad to announce that on May 24, 2022, at the age of 87, Fikria E Hassan (Swartz Creek, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bassiouny Amrousy and Hanem El Amrousy; and her siblings, Fat, Nazly El Amrousy and Saad El Amrousy.
She is survived by: her husband Dr. Shawky A. Hassan; her children, Dr. Tarek Hassan (Diana Gomez Hassan), Ahmos Hassan (Tina Burns Hassan), Dr. Sonia Hassan (Michael Duggan), Susan Hassan (Rodd Schreiber) and Dr. Adam Hassan (Alita Berrios Hassan); and her grandchildren, Alex, Adriana, Nadina, Amira, Omar, Gabriel, Ramses, Noor, Aten, Suraya and Zane.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dr. Hassan's name to CARE (Cooperative for Assistance and Relief Everywhere), a global leader in the worldwide fight to end poverty, to support its work to develop and educate women and girls and provide food security in Egypt.
