She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Ellis and Mary Pauline Ziy (Abbott); and her husband Richard Lloyd Holmes. She is survived by: her children, Richard Lloyd "Rick" Holmes, Jr. (Sharon) of Conroe, TX, Steven Allan Holmes (Gail) of Millington, Tamara Fay Parenteau (Mark) of Swartz Creek and Terry Lee Holmes (Tina) of Naples, FL. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Homes - Miller Road Chapel (8138 Miller Rd, Swartz Creek, MI 48473). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at the Sunset Hills Cemetery (4413 Flushing Rd, Flint, MI 48504).
