She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthias Joseph and Blanche Wadle (Wachter); her husband Robert Lee DeLong; and her siblings, Merrill, John Wadle, Mary Steinberg and Patricia Reeves.

She is survived by: her children, Theresa DeLong of Livonia and Michael J. "MJ" DeLong (Tricia) of Williamston; her grandchildren, Alexa "Lexi" DeLong of Mt. Pleasant and Trevor DeLong of Williamston; and her siblings, Ron Wadle (Carole) of Florida, Mel Wadle (Carol) of Missouri, Moe Wadle (Videlle) of Iowa, Eldon Wadle (Gloria) of Florida, Michelle Wadle (Stephen Sombar) of Texas and Barb McGaughran (Jim) of Florida. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
