He was predeceased by: his parents, Aloysius Pertler and Lucille Pertler (Ogden); his wife Violet; his son Terry; and his siblings, Duane, Shirley and Leland.
He is survived by: his former wife Joyce Hampton (Luce); his children, Bill, Craig, Cyndi and Carol; his grandson Don; his sons, Dr. Rick Pertler (Marla) of Poway, CA and Timothy Pertler (Kathy) of Indianapolis, IN.; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Jodi, Andrew, Nicholas, Dana and Colleen; and his brother Kenneth Pertler of Flint.
