He was predeceased by: his parents, R. G. Parker and Ruth Robinson Parker; his wife Barbara Summers Parker; and his siblings, Joyce and Robert Parker.

He is survived by: his children, Deidra Hensley (Bill), Scott Parker (Wanda), Shawn Parker (Marie), Shane Dawes (Steve) and Jackie Irish.
