He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin Donald and Emmajeanne Garske (Lund); and his brother Mark Garske. He is survived by: his wife Becky Susanne Widigan; his sons, Jonathon Campbell (Chasity) of San Antonio, TX, Andrew Garske of Lansing, Zachary Garske of Flushing Township and Eli Garske of Grand Blanc; his grandchildren, Brooklyn, Hudson, Parker, Kedzie and Brynn; his siblings, Lori Bois (Tom) of Florida, LeAnne Al-Saleem (Saud) of Saudi Arabia and Donald Garske of Florida; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Widigan (Sharon) of Lennon and Deborah Campbell of Flint. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
