It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmeletta Strauss of Swartz Creek, Michigan, born in Midland, Michigan, who passed away on May 19, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Munger and Wella Munger (Boyle); her husband Leo; and her daughter Dorthea Maxine Strauss. She is survived by: her children, Michael Strauss (Deborah), Richard Strauss (Mary), LoAnne Russian (Jim) and Kelly Emigh (Kenneth); her grandchildren, Rick, Ryan, David, Michael, Nick, Lori, Isaac and Jessica; and her brothers, William Munger (Elizabeth), Edwin Munger and Gary Munger (Karen). She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to the McLaren Hospice.
