It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Lou Cook of Swartz Creek, Michigan, who passed away on February 27, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle Donald Parker and Doris M. Parker (Schowalter); her husband Wilbur "Bill" Royal Cook; her sister Ruth Sweers; her son-in-law Ken Rodenbo; and her brother Lynus "Pete" Parker.
She is survived by: her children, Konnie Lee Rodenbo of Linden, Nancy Ann Carlson of Linden and Donald Allen Cook (Kelly) of Linden; her sister Della Poirier (Robert) of Linden; and her sister-in-law Pat Parker of Phoenix, AZ.. She is also survived by six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Home, Fenton Chapel (1000 W Silver Lake Rd, Fenton, MI 48430). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Flint Memorial Park Cemetery (9506 N Dort Hwy, Mt Morris, MI 48458).
